The event from start to finish radiated titanic competence, timing and cutting edge inspiration coupled with century's old seamlessness - the art and base of sublime entertainment. Nothing jarred, nothing was madly spectacular, it simply flowed and entertained the mind, spirit and taste buds - a balance which even the most extolled hostesses of their time have found a testing balance.

The evening gave a true insight to anyone considering a dinner party for 3, or an Indian banquet for 180 on a Tuscan hillside, the ability to see how it could come together and that indeed, anything is possible ....
