Althorp - Northampton NN7
Althorp has been home to the Spencer family for nearly 500 years. It became the focus of world attention following the tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales in September 1997.
The magnificent reception and dining rooms display an outstanding and extensive collection of pictures, furniture and ceramics, which provide a stunning backdrop for wedding receptions, parties, lunches and dinners for both corporate and private clients. In the Park there are two marquee sites, one in the Deer Park, which can be adjoined to the house and one by the ornamental duck pond with views to the beautiful stable block. Both sites can accommodate large marquees, which can take up to 1,000 people for a reception and dinner.
