Burlington Gardens (6), Royal Academy of Arts – London W1
A magnificent listed building in the West End of London. The building, at 6 Burlington Gardens, lies directly behind the Royal Academy at Burlington House. The former occupants, the British Museum, have now vacated a large part of the building, enabling the Royal Academy to begin using the space creatively.
With minimal intervention to the building itself, a temporary exhibition space for Giorgio Armani. The West Room has an elegant, minimalist interior that can be customised to suit any type of event (capacity is 350 for reception, 200 for lunch or dinner). Entertaining also continues in Burlington Houses beautiful suite of Fine Rooms, where guests can enjoy a private view of the current exhibition.
